Visiting Information | Nottingham Hospital

Our ongoing commitment to quality, patient safety and clinical care remains our top priority, as such we have made a decision to instigate a no visitor rule at our hospitals unless urgent and approved. At present many of our planned procedures and appointments will continue to go ahead unless you hear from us otherwise. If you are showing any Coronavirus symptoms, however mild, you should follow the latest NHS guidance and self-isolate. Please do not attend your hospital appointment if you are showing any symptoms.

We request that the following hours be observed: 11.00 am to 8.00 pm for all patients. Rest is an important part of recovery from illness or an operation so if staff your relative or friend require a rest within these times you may be asked to leave for a short while.

We do ask that you be considerate to others in the hospital. Lots of noise and many people can be very distressing to some patients. Please respect their need for rest and privacy. Children are very welcome but they must be supervised by an adult at all times.

No flowers please. At Woodthorpe Hospital we take Infection Control and Prevention very seriously. We have one of the lowest infection rates in the country and strive to maintain our high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
We therefore kindly request that flowers are not brought into patient bedrooms.
