Carpal Tunnel

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a condition where there is increased pressure on the nerve that crosses the front of the wrist (the median nerve). The median nerve runs through a tight tunnel, together with the tendons that bend the fingers.

Dupuytren's Fasciectomy

Dupuytren’s disease is a condition where scar-like tissue forms just beneath the skin of the fingers and the palm of the hand.

Over time, this fibrous tissue can contract and force one or more fingers to curl up into the palm. This is known as Dupuytren’s contracture.

A ganglion is a lump under the skin that contains fluid. Most ganglions form near the wrist joint. They are also found on the ankle and foot. The fluid in the ganglion comes from the joint through a narrow channel.
