Private hospitals in Nottingham

Our ongoing commitment to quality, patient safety and clinical care remains our top priority, as such we have made a decision to instigate a no visitor rule at our hospitals unless urgent and approved. At present many of our planned procedures and appointments will continue to go ahead unless you hear from us otherwise. If you are showing any Coronavirus symptoms, however mild, you should follow the latest NHS guidance and self-isolate. Please do not attend your hospital appointment if you are showing any symptoms.

(Coronavirus) Patient and Visitor Information

Ramsay Health Care UK has offered its full support to the National Health Service to assist with its response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

During COVID 19 we ask that you only attend the hospital if you have been invited to do so. This is to protect all our patients, particularly the most vulnerable as well as our staff.

We have reduced some of our services in line with current guidelines, however, we are still able to assess and provide advice remotely on non-COVID related queries. If your consultant feels that an appointment at the hospital is required, we will arrange an appropriate appointment for you.

Patient Lead Assessment of the Care Environment

In May 2018 we carried out the annual PLACE assessments at Woodthorpe Hospital. This annual assessment is a statutory national indicator and includes audits which incorporate all the areas of the hospital.

I have had problems with my lower back for over 10 years and have never had the same confidence or experience whilst being looked after. I have asked my GP to refer me to the Woodthorpe for all of my spinal care. Great service.

- Spinal Care

The experience was one of a five star hotel. The after care is also very good and ongoing, you’re not just taken to the door and forgotten about. The whole team at the Woodthorpe are second to none !!

- Orthopaedics

I can read even very small print without any specs, how wonderful is that. Thank you seems so little to say, I will always be grateful for what you have done.
